Occupational Health Assessments

bp_checkA face-to-face occupational health assessment takes between 1/2-1hr depending on complexity.

This process would ensure that a prospective employee is suitably matched to the job they have applied for and any medical problems which could affect the ability of the employee to carry out the role set out in their job description could be highlighted. It also serves to pre-empt any potential health problems in the workplace for prospective and existing employees and enables tailored adaptation of the workplace, job description or working pattern at an early stage to comply with relevant legislation including the Disability Discrimination Act.

If there are occupational health concerns about existing employees, the human resources department can contact us with the relevant details highlighting:

 

Ø  Employee's job description and working pattern

Ø  What occupational health advice is required about the employee eg long-term sickness and return to work

 

An occupational health appointment can subsequently be arranged at Holborn Medical Centre and a report issued to the employer shortly afterwards.
